Each year GPWA continues to advance its mission of educating our local communities and employees.  Because of your partnership with GWPA, the Association was able to award ten (10) $1000 scholarships to the employees (or their immediate family members) of GDC facilities, county correctional institutions, or private prisons.  Throughout the 70-year history of the GPWA, scholarships and education has remained a primary focus of the organization.  By enhancing the well-being of all correctional staff and their preparation for advancement opportunities, our agency is assured of keeping the most qualified people in the right positions.
